Gelom Technologies Website Rebuild
A full rebuild of gtechltd.com for a Nairobi-based managed cybersecurity and compliance company, turning a long list of services into one clear offer: an outsourced cybersecurity and data protection team.
The problem
Gelom's existing WordPress site listed many technical services without a clear commercial story. Five solution sub-pages repeated the same compliance and industries blocks word for word, several calls to action pointed to the wrong page, and the blog carried placeholder posts and typos. A visitor from a school, clinic, SACCO or growing business could not quickly tell what Gelom would actually do for them or how to get started.
What I built
I rebuilt the site around one message: your outsourced cybersecurity and data protection team. The homepage now walks through four functions (Protect, Monitor, Comply, Respond), a build-versus-outsource comparison, and the sectors Gelom serves. Each page was built as clean, scoped HTML for the Pagelayer builder, so it stays easy for Gelom to edit and does not clash with the theme. The site keeps a single primary action throughout: book a free assessment.
Inside the rebuild
Homepage
A new hero, four-pillar overview, a comparison of building security in-house versus outsourcing to Gelom, a solutions teaser, sector links, and a closing call to action.
Flagship service pages
A dedicated Data Protection and Cybersecurity as a Service page and an Outsource Your Cybersecurity Function page, explaining the offer in plain, boardroom-friendly language.
One consolidated Solutions page
Five duplicate sub-pages and three extra line items were merged into a single page of eight solution cards, removing the repeated content and giving visitors one place to compare.
Sector pages
Separate pages for Education, Healthcare, Financial Institutions, and SMEs and Corporates, each speaking to that sector's own risks and compliance needs.
Assessment and contact forms
Styled Fluent Forms on the Book a Free Assessment and Contact pages, using a reusable three-block embed pattern so the forms match the rest of the site inside Pagelayer.
Maintenance page
A branded maintenance page delivered through a small PHP shortcode, so the site can be taken offline cleanly during updates.
